Sustain_Ability

About the project

Sustain_Ability is a three-year European Erasmus+ project that strengthens sustainability competencies in workplaces and trains educators to become ambassadors of sustainable development. The project develops open training materials, pedagogical methods and practical tools that support the green transition and build sustainability capacity across different work environments. We want to set an example by including people with fewer opportunities and promoting inclusivity in adult education. At the same time, we offer local partners (especially those who are new to Erasmus+) the chance to shine on the European stage.

Status quo and motivation

Workplaces across Europe are undergoing rapid ecological, social and administrative changes. Organisations need trainers who can guide staff and teams towards sustainable practices. The project responds to this need by:

  • improving sustainability knowledge and practical skills

  • creating accessible training content for adult educators

  • supporting organisations in transforming work processes according to ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) principles

  • promoting long-term, positive change in work communities

Co-funded by the European Union

Project objectives

  • Train educators who can identify, analyse and develop workplace processes in line with sustainable development

  • Develop a pedagogical guide and sustainability training methods

  • Build a complete training course structure and learning materials (incl. e-learning)

  • Pilot the training in three countries and refine the results based on real user feedback

  • Increase the visibility and impact of sustainability education in adult learning organisations
