About the project

The Erasmus+ project SocialECOnomy brings together social enterprises and non-profit organisations from Austria, Poland, Germany and Italy to jointly strengthen the principles of the circular economy and promote environmental sustainability. Through hands-on training, we empower social entrepreneurs and their teams to increase their competitiveness and actively contribute to the realisation of the European Green Deal vision.

We want to set an example by including people with fewer opportunities and promoting inclusivity in adult education. At the same time, we offer local partners - especially those who are new to Erasmus+ - the chance to shine on the European stage.

Why Circular Economy?

Circularity is of central importance for social enterprises, as it harmonises perfectly with the core values of sustainability, the common good and social responsibility. By implementing circular principles - such as waste prevention, material reuse and strengthening local resource cycles - these companies can not only increase their resilience and reduce operating costs, but also create long-term value for their communities and actively contribute to environmental protection.

Our common goal

The project provides social enterprises with the necessary skills, knowledge and networks to successfully implement circular practices. This not only strengthens their sustainability strategies, but also increases their social and environmental impact.
