Aftermovie CIFE
In October 2025, Thinkubator teamed up with Climate-KIC to bring the Climate Launchpad Global Grand Final to Vienna, creating its own event for the occasion: the Climate Innovation Festival CIFE. The day began with an Innovators Fair, where startups from over 40 countries exhibited their concepts. This was followed in the afternoon by breakout sessions and finally the pitching competition.

BioKreis Kick-Off
Two weeks ago, we launched our new educational project on bioeconomy and circular economy, BioKreis. Together with over 100 students from grades 1 to 8, we visited BOKU for a welcome and a short introduction, followed by a series of exciting stations. These stations explored questions such as what can be made from trees and what career opportunities are emerging in the circular economy and bioeconomy.
Climate Launchpad National Final 2025
Das nationale Finale des Climate Launchpads fand Mitte Juni beim SpeakOut Festival des Kuriers im MQ statt. Minimist, EcoMycel und Troponaut belegten die ersten drei Plätze, Terraformer holte den Publikumspreis.
European Youth Parliament: Climate Youth Action Plan
Alexandra was in Brussels for the final event of the Climate Youth Action Plan (CYAP) Idea Competition - a nine-month innovation process that we have been supporting since September 2024.
SocialECOnomy Training: Vienna
Three days of training on the circular economy with organizations from Poland, Italy, Germany and Austria - as part of the EU project #SocialECOnomy.
Alexandra in the Hall of Femmes 2025
Alexandra was inducted into the Hall of Femmes 2025 by WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) as one of 11 graduates.
Publication of the CBM+ Insights Report 2024
At the end of our research project CBM+, funded by the FFG, we published the CBM+ Insights Report. In the course of the project, an innovative evaluation tool for circular business models was developed. The aim is to support SMEs in the financing and implementation of circular concepts and thus promote the transformation towards a sustainable economy.
Climate Innovation Festival 2025
Thinkubator brings the global finale of the Climate Launchpad 2025 to Vienna - as part of the Climate Innovation Festival.

CLP Final 2024
The national final of the Climate Launchpad, organised by Thinkubator, took place on 11 June as part of the Speak Out Festival in Vienna's Museumsquartier. The three winning teams - Joulzen, co2ol catalyst and wattwise - will move on to the European final.
Climate Launchpad
In 2024, Thinkubator is bringing the Climatelaunchpad back to Austria. We are delighted to be reviving the world's largest competition for green business ideas in Austria and to be able to offer talented founders an international stage.

Season finale #5
The fifth Thinkubator Fellow season ended successfully at the Climate Lab, where we experienced the presentations of both Fellow groups together with our partners. Many thanks to everyone involved and especially to our fellows!

Season #5 Kick Off
We are starting the fifth Fellow season with two corporate partners, the Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft and the Repair and Service Centre. In the coming months, the fellows will be working on a scalable repair scheme and the question of how data can be used efficiently for CE in the construction sector.
