About Us
Thinkubator is a think tank with a mission to close the knowledge-action gap in the field of sustainable business. Through educational programs, research projects, and consulting services, our team puts knowledge into practice and works toward a climate-neutral circular economy by 2050.
The Thinkubator Team
In addition to our team, we work with a number of partners who complement us in various projects and subject areas. Find out more on the project subpages and under Voices we trust.
Our impact
Impact is the cornerstone of our work. For Thinkubator, impact means making social change measurable and visible - far beyond CO₂ equivalents.
On our third anniversary in 2024, we presented our first impact report, which shows the impact of our programs and activities. The next impact report on 5 years of Thinkubator will be published in fall 2026.

Our journey
Thinkubator was founded in 2021 as an impact business with the aim of bringing more climate research into entrepreneurial implementation. To this day, we have remained true to our mission of closing the knowledge-action gap. Building on our first educational program, the Circular Economy Fellowship, we have developed a range of innovative educational offerings—from school classes to start-ups to management. At the same time, research projects and collaborations have emerged, and finally our consulting services.
What sets us apart is not that we have these three areas. Our added value is that knowledge does not remain isolated, but flows into one another. The result is interconnected, tried-and-tested know-how. We always work with the latest technologies and the most up-to-date knowledge, which is tested, translated, and ready for immediate use.
Thinkubator stands for constructive, implementable solutions that work ecologically and economically. We are convinced that ecological and social problems can be solved entrepreneurially. With our work, we primarily pursue the goals of SDG 12 Sustainable Consumption and Production as well as the sub-goals of SDGs 4, 9, 13, and 17.
