Green Skills Challenge
Growing challenges call for innovative approaches: many complex issues trigger fear and powerlessness (eco-anxiety) in young people. This is precisely where the Green Skills Challenge comes in, by focussing on action orientation and showing concrete possibilities of how and where to become active. The aim is to develop solutions for relevant problems that are not only tangible, but also drive forward the socio-ecological transformation.
What is the Green Skills Challenge?
The aim of the Green Skills Challenge is to motivate young people to actively address the challenges of sustainable development and to provide them with the necessary competences (green skills). Together with local stakeholders, students and teachers, pupils will be given concrete challenges to enable them to understand and tackle the complex problems of climate change and socio-ecological transformation.

The Green Skills Challenge will take place from 13 to 16 January 2025.
